i absolutely hate parents who insist on endangering their children's lives' by pushing their prams (with the kid still in it) onto the escalator. are these parents simply lazy or impatient? why can't they either wait for the lift or take the child out of the pram and carry them on the escalator? have they never considered the possibility of the wheels getting stuck on the escalator or having the escalator abruptly stop for whatever reasons? i simply can not believe how irresponsible these parents are.

I concur! I give them the death stare but I don't think that's enough to deter them from their stunt. Sure does look like a juggling act to me...
The other side of the coin might be..if the child is asleep and the lift is no where to be found, would dads & mums still attempt to carry/wake the bub?
E- you take the child out of the pram, carry him/her and leave the pram at the bottom? Drag the pram behind you? Then that's a bit stupid right? So what if you can't manouvre that, where you'll lose your grip on the pram and it rolls down and hit someone else.
Sometimes people don't have a choice, or if you know, there is a technique on how to do it. Think you should observe the next time before being quick to point an accusing finger.
