new things for the past week with baby c:

• he doesn't stuff his fists into his mouth as much anymore. he's more into stuffing his toes into his mouth now.
• he keeps on making full rolls onto his sides then onto his tummy. THEN to finish it off, he pushes his top half of his body up while on his tummy (it's almost like he's saying "ta-da")
• he babbles A LOT now, especially when he's happy (mostly when he's out). it turns into high pitch shrieks most times. people will think that we're terrible parents because after we acknowledge him, we'll just continue to let him make lots of noise and continue doing what we're doing
• he has learnt how to smack his lips (i think he's ready for solids but i'm holding it off for another two weeks still)
• he likes to bring his hands together to grab things when we put objects in front of him. he's got his co-ordination going now
• he's REALLY into his teethers
• he wakes up at 3am and entertains himself in the cot until about 5ish. he'll be babbling to himself and rolling and turning around (i know because he wakes me up). surprisingly, he NEVER calls out to us to pick him up. it's almost as if he knows that it's not day time yet.
• he likes to chew and suck on his buddy, froggy's toes to sleep when we're out
