- even though i truly love and enjoy being a mum to baby c, there are days when i just sit and stare at the clock, willing it to go faster in anticipation of b's return to take baby c off my hands
- there are also days when i wished that i could turn back time to before baby c was born. ah, the freedom.............
- i sometimes let baby c cry on his own when i'm too tired (hey, he's 8.2kg now and YOU try carrying him AND rocking him to sleep, which can take up to 20 minutes!). this is where i learned that he sometimes "cry wolf". he would cry half hearted-ly then after a while when he realises that i'm ignoring him and not falling for it, he'll stop and entertain himself
- i sometimes manhandle him and play rough with him (again, he's a BIG boy) and he likes it
- i have thrown clothes out when the diaper leaked and there's poo all over the back because i was too tired to deal with it

With a job, it's a 9-5 /9-7/9-9 kinda routine.
With a baby, it's a full time commitment.
You should pat yourself at the back for the effort and sacrifice that you’ve put in the last 6 months! So it ain't that deep nor 'dark', if you know what I mean.
